Craig W. Walker

ABOUT CRAIG

Craig W. Walker practices in the area real estate and wills and estates. He believes that the closing of a real estate deal or the signing of a will is just the beginning of a long-term relationship with his clients.

Working closely with home buyers and sellers, investors, borrowers, private lenders, developers, corporations, partnerships, and small and medium-sized business owners, Craig has developed an extensive network of relationships not only with clients but also with other trusted professionals, including real estate agents, mortgage brokers, lending professionals, insurance agents, home inspectors, and others involved in real estate in Ottawa and beyond. From the first-time home buyer to the seasoned real estate investor, Craig has helped thousands of clients close on the purchase or sale of a home, refinance their property, and invest in real estate.

In his estate planning practice, Craig ensures that his clients understand all the implications and all steps of the process. He handles both simple and complex wills, powers of attorney, and the intricacies of estate administration.

Craig holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University (1998) and obtained his LLB from the University of Manitoba in 2003. Craig articled with RSR in 2003 prior to being called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.

I have referred several people to Melody MacDonell over the years. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone at Rasmussen Starr Ruddy.

— Dawna Christy

A big thank you to Melody and her staff. Melody is straight forward and knows her stuff. Although going through a separation is hard, I was very confident things would work out in my favor. And they did. Looking forward to the next new chapter to begin. Thanks again Melody.

I don’t know what I would have done without them. You may not remember every word they say, but you’ll never forget how they make you feel.

— Judy Everson

Their personal skills are great: they’re very easy to deal with. I question a lot and they’re very accommodating.

— Donna Lea Andrews, Andrews Brothers Construction (Ottawa) Ltd.

I like the fact that I can pick up the phone and talk to my lawyer, not an assistant. Other firms are getting too big to provide personal service.

— Ken Crawford, C&M Electric

They have a clear understanding of our business and are very responsive. The partners are well respected among their peers.

— Jonathan Westeinde, Windmill Developments

They’re prompt, intelligent, give good advice, and charge reasonable rates.
